Circus Modern evolved from Mezzanine’s passion for circus arts and has been a parallel world to Mezza9 Art for over a decade. Since 2015 the business has been in the San Francisco Bay area as well as the East Coast and is newly expanding to Reno, NV in 2023. Holiday of Wonders is a subsidiary that began in 2017. Mezzanine still personally schedules Santa and the joyful elves to go to private and corporate events.
When she is not working on the next circus move or painting, she is an advocate for sustainability of the environment and is most likely hiking a National Park or at the ocean’s edge, drinking coffee or practicing yoga with her two pups.

Santa James
Santa James loves Country Clubs! He’s been seen golfing, sky diving, playing basketball & many other amazing Santa moments.
Wonderful father of two makes a delightful Santa with a kind and gentle spirit. This is our third year offering Santa James and he has gotten the most positive reviews, including “real deal” Santa! He has extensive Santa experience, including: walkabout at large corporate events, and making home visits on Christmas Eve.
Santa James has been called "convincing” and has made many magical Christmas wishes for families come true. He has been the Napa Country Club Santa for 3 years running and many other high-end events.
Last year alone, Santa James arrived by skydiving, played UC basketball, and was Stanford U’s Santa for the big game day.
Mrs. Claus is available for appearances too!

Santa Jonathan is the life of the party!
When he is not at the North Pole, Santa Jonathan is a Bay Area artist, radical thinker, and has a background in hilarious entertainment with puppets. His work emphasizes environmental sustainability. He writes scripts and composes songs, sings, and entertains with puppets to impart eco-sound messages. He created The Conscious Carnival which toured schools and public spaces; it features carnival games with eco-twists. These are games of chance designed to engage the participants with entertaining and fun activities while they are learning about a variety of issues concerning the environment and sustainability.
He is one of our favorite humans!
Santa Jonathan has been Santa since 2017 and has marvelous experience at all types of events from home visits, corporate parties, bars, outdoor malls, and as a wonderful Sensory Santa.

Santa Stephen
Stephen is an SF Bay area artist and long time theatrical performer, puppeteer, and stilt walker. He is an impecable Santa and has been out as the Berkeley Santa and the Westin SF Santa.
Santa Kevin
Santa Kevin is a fun loving Santa who’s our go-to Santa for busy events. This will be his third, or is it fourth year riding on the fire truck in San Bruno? Last year he even subbed in for a mall Santa. When Santa Kevin is not at the North Pole, he is a fire dancer and leads a drum line. He is a skilled salsa dancer too! We are so grateful for Santa Kevin.
Santa Jeremy
Santa Jeremy hails from Marin County (when he is not at the North Pole.)
He has lots of experience working with children and loves to bring the good cheer to events. He is delightful and easy going. This is his third season with Holiday of Wonders.

Russell is a wonderful character actor and entertainer ready for your event! He has many years of experience with us. His other entertainment talents include stilt-walking, LED club juggling and performing with the infamous FouFouHa.

Mezzanine and company did a fabulous job entertaining 85 children and 300 adults for our twins first birthday party. She was definitely a pleasure to work with and extremely pleasant to all. Mezzanine provided an itinerary for the 2.5 hours, plus we added an extra 30 minutes for the workshop. Kids and adults talked about our stilt walker/jugglers for weeks after our babies party. I’m so pleased that I went with my gut and hired Mezzanine Beecomb Circus Arts for some extra entertainment for our circus party. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.”
